Your dog is still wet. You just can't see it.

Three hours after the walk. Still damp. Still smells.

The towel-down felt like it worked. Then the sofa got that smell. Then the hallway. Then your dog spent the evening cold, shaking, and rubbing themselves along the wall.

You've done this for years. That doesn't make it normal — it makes it a problem nobody sold you a fix for.

It's not you. It's the towel.

A towel wipes the outside of the coat.

The water isn't on the outside. It's held deep against the skin — worse on double coats, curly coats, and anything thick.

You can rub for ten minutes and still not touch it. That's not bad technique. That's the wrong tool.

The trapped water is what stinks.

A dog's shake clears roughly 70% of the water in seconds. The last 30% stays in there.

That 30% is doing all the damage:

• Warm, damp fur is where the "wet dog" smell is actually made
• It keeps releasing onto your floors, your car seats, your bed — for hours
• It sits against the skin and keeps your dog cold long after they look dry

Get the last 30% out and the smell, the mess and the shivering go with it.

Pull the water out. Don't wipe it off.

WagDry isn't a towel with sleeves.

Dense microfibre sits in contact with the coat and draws moisture out of it — then holds it, instead of pushing it around.

And it covers the parts that stay wettest. Belly. Chest. Legs. The exact places a towel skips and most drying coats stop short of.

Put it on. Let them wander. Take it off dry.

The bit everyone else gets wrong: the fit.

Read the reviews on any other drying coat and it's the same complaint: ordered the size on the chart, it didn't fit.

So we did this differently:

• Measure, don't guess. Our chart uses back length and chest girth — not weight. Weight is why sizing fails.
• Adjustable at the neck and belly. Same robe fits a barrel-chested Staffie and a deep-chested Whippet.
• XS to XL, so small breeds get real coverage instead of a scaled-down guess.
• Machine washable. It's going in the wash every week. It's built for that.

Wrong size? We'll swap it. Message us and we'll send the right one — you shouldn't pay for a sizing chart being wrong.

The towel is free. It's also useless.

Sizing — measure first

Take two measurements before you order:

1. Back length — base of the neck to the base of the tail
2. Chest girth — widest point, just behind the front legs

Match both to the size chart in the images. If your dog is between sizes, size up.

Quick answers

How long does it take? Most coats are dry in a fraction of the time a towel takes — leave it on while they settle rather than rubbing them down.

Will my dog keep it on? It fastens at the neck and belly and moves with them, so most dogs ignore it after a minute.

Can they wear it in the house? That's the point — it does the work while you get on with your evening.

Washing? Machine wash, no fabric softener (it coats the fibres and kills absorbency), hang to dry.
